Starting a company is hard.
Ending it is even harder…

Today I share some difficult news: Monday Envelope will cease operations at the end of July.

Parent engagement is the number one predictor of a child’s lifelong academic success. However, it is unbelievably difficult to be an involved parent.

Three years ago, I first felt that pain as a Mom. And so as an entrepreneur, I set out to build a solution.

We successfully created a beautiful product that thousands of people used, people wrote about it, we formed profitable partnerships with companies like OhmConnect and HelloSign and we even won awards. Unfortunately, we have been unable to fund our growth and without additional resources we cannot continue.

Through birthing Monday Envelope (my second company-baby) I’ve been enormously lucky to work with some of the smartest and most talented women and men around (many of them active parents themselves).

I’m also so grateful for the opportunity to have met all of you dedicated parents who often go unrecognized. You work countless hours to support your schools, to build a community, and to create the best educational experience possible for your children. It was your tireless work that inspired us.

For our current members: After researching all the options, we’ve found you a new home with a team who we believe shares our mission and will pick up the torch to support you and your parents in the best way possible. We’ll be working closely with their team to make a transition effortless. If you haven’t heard from me personally, please feel free to reach out to for more information.

Over the course of the past three years I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to build a successful Parent Association and I want to share those insights, tips and tools.
